Goodride Deville ("Bobby") is a striking dark bay colt out of the first foal crop of the great young sire, VS Goodride, and out of one of our best producing mares, Joella Deville. "Joella" has produced some of our outstanding prospects including "Stiney", "Jake", and "Elizabee", among others. "Bobby", however, is hands-down her very best!
As a baby, "Bobby" was introduced to all of the basics (haltering, tying, grooming, leading and giving to the rope exercises at 3 months. We found him to be really super smart and fun baby to work with! As a yearling he was introduced to roundpen and other groundwork exercises (see video "Yearling Basics") and he is currently in under-saddle training with Jim Koch of Chebanse, Illinois. He finds that he has it all...movement, great eye-appeal and super disposition! As per Jim, "He is exceptional"! A serious prospect for the Open, Amateur or Youth exhibitor.
